Lena recently graduated from McGill University's joint JD/BCL program, where she was actively involved in legal clinics, academic journals, and research focused on access to justice and equity. Alongside her studies, she worked for the Ottawa Coalition to End Violence Against Women, the Ministry of the Attorney General, and in the legal departments of the Just for Laughs Festival.

Before law school, Lena worked across the public, academic, and non-profit sectors, advancing initiatives led by and for Indigenous and Black communities in Canada and internationally. She holds a BA from the University of Toronto and an MSc in Urban Development Planning from The Bartlett, University College London.

She looks forward to supporting OKT in fulfilling its core purpose of advocating for Indigenous rights, interests, and self-determination.
