HyunGu is an associate at OKT. HyunGu has a background in applied natural sciences and political ecology, having completed an honours Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Conservation at the University of British Columbia and a joint JD/Master of Environmental Studies at York University and Osgoode Hall Law School. HyunGu achieved several distinctions in law school, including academic prizes in tort and constitutional law and awards for oral advocacy in moots. While at Osgoode, she participated in the Indigenous Lands, Resources, and Governance Intensive and the Anishinaabe Law Camp. Prior to joining OKT, HyunGu served as a judicial law clerk at the Federal Court and worked in the environmental law department of a corporate law firm in Toronto.
