Bethanie Wilson

Summer Placement Student

(687) 675-5806

Bethanie is a member of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, a licensed paralegal, and an incoming third-year JD student at Osgoode Hall Law School. While earning her undergraduate degree in Legal Studies from Ontario Tech University and her paralegal diploma from Durham College, she worked within the Legal Aid system through clinic work and student placements, developing a strong interest in access to justice and direct advocacy.

At Osgoode, she’s been involved in various clubs and organizations, including Student Caucus, the Journal of Law and Social Policy, and as an executive member of Osgoode’s Indigenous Students’ Association (OISA). In the coming academic year, she will serve as Co-Chair of OISA, where she looks forward to supporting Indigenous students and helping to foster a strong, connected community within the law school.

She is grateful to return to Olthuis Kleer Townshend as a summer student and excited to continue learning from and contributing to work grounded in Indigenous law and community.
