OKT is pleased to announce that Randall Kahgee has joined the firm as Senior Counsel. Randall is an accomplished Aboriginal law and Indigenous law practitioner who brings a wealth of experience as a negotiator and advocate on Indigenous rights.
In addition to serving as Chief of Saugeen First Nation for four terms (from 2006 – 2014), Randall has worked in private practice representing many Indigenous clients in complex negotiations and agreement processes (particularly regarding energy, mining and resource development projects). He has extensive experience in strategic development, governance capacity-building, and development and implementation of Indigenous laws and policies.
OKT is thrilled that Randall is offering his considerable
experience and advocacy skills to OKT’s clients across Canada.
