OKT is pleased to announce that Bob Freedman has joined the firm as Senior Counsel. Bob is one of the leading Aboriginal law practitioners in Canada. He has extensive experience in negotiations, particularly in the areas of oil and gas, pipelines, mining and Crown-First Nation consultation agreements.
Lawyers from OKT have had the pleasure of working with Bob on a number of occasions over the years and so we are very pleased he is joining the firm. His wide-ranging experience in negotiations and agreement implementation, including with the BC (and Yukon) Treaty process, will be an asset to the firm. It will complement OKT’s existing strengths in modern treaty and impact and benefit agreement negotiations.
Bob will continue to be based in Vancouver allowing us to better serve clients in BC and the Yukon.
