Christian is an associate at OKT. Christian’s practice is focused on advising First Nations and First Nation-owned businesses on corporate transactions and land management matters. He has experience advising clients on partnership and financing transactions in the renewable energy and electricity sectors. Christian has also advised clients on acquisition transactions in a range of natural resource industries, and regularly advises clients on leasing, real estate acquisitions, additions to reserve, and parks and protected areas management.
Christian attended Osgoode Hall Law School, where he participated in the Intensive Program in Indigenous Lands, Resources & Governments. His placement as part of this program was with the Stó:lō Research and Resource Management Centre in Chilliwack, British Columbia, where he assisted with research related to water use and sustainability policies. Before joining OKT, Christian articled with a national law firm in Toronto, where his work focused on corporate and real estate transactions.
Christian is called to the Bar in Ontario and the Northwest Territories.
