Eileen Church Carson is an Associate in our Toronto office. Her practice focuses on litigation related to Aboriginal and treaty rights, as well as contract and corporate disputes on behalf of First Nations.

Before joining OKT LLP, Eileen practiced for three years at a boutique litigation firm in Toronto with a focus on commercial litigation. Eileen also served as a law clerk to the Honourable Justice Southcott at the Federal Court of Canada.

Eileen completed her undergraduate studies at McMaster University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts and Science Degree. Eileen holds a Juris Doctor with a Certificate in Aboriginal Legal Studies from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.

While at law school, Eileen was Co-Leader for the Indigenous Rights Working Group at the David Asper Centre of Constitutional Rights, and worked as a Senior Editor for the Indigenous Law Journal. She also worked as a Summer Research Fellow at the Max Plank Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity in Germany. Eileen represented the University of Toronto in the Wilson Moot competition and was selected for University of Toronto’s Grand Moot in 2019.  

Eileen is called to the bar in Ontario.
