Grace Shin is an Associate at OKT. She is passionate about advancing Aboriginal and treaty rights and advocating for Indigenous self-determination through her burgeoning litigation practice.
Grace received her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School. While at Osgoode Hall, she conducted research on Indigenous restorative justice mechanisms for an Indigenous legal aid clinic as part of the Debwewin Summer Internship program.
She also completed a placement at an Aboriginal law firm through the Intensive Program in Indigenous Lands, Resources & Governments, assisting in files relating to trusts, corporate law, employment law and administrative law for First Nations clients.
Grace holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from McGill University. During her undergraduate degree, she interned at the International Criminal Court and worked as a camp counsellor in an Eeyou Istchee community. Prior to joining OKT, Grace completed her articles at a litigation boutique with a focus in union-side labour law and professional liability work.
