Apeksha is a legal assistant at OKT. She works at the firm’s Toronto location as part of the corporate practice group and is involved in the administration of corporate and commercial transactions related to First Nations-owned businesses.
Prior to joining OKT, Apeksha worked in an administrative capacity for a corporate and securities law firm with a focus on both private and public companies.
Her earlier experience includes working as a legal administrative assistant at a well-established litigation firm in Vancouver, B.C. She worked in personal injury law for Defence Counsel.
Apeksha graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Kwantlen Polytechnic University with a major in Human Resources Management. After that, she completed a Certificate in Legal Administrative Studies with Honours and received the Fasken Martineau DuMoulin, LLP scholarship. Immediately thereafter, she completed a practicum in real estate law at Fasken.
Apeksha grew up in Oman and briefly lived in India before moving to Vancouver in 1998.
As an avid traveller, Apeksha has visited many countries including Dubai, England, Malaysia, Japan and the USA. She speaks other languages such as Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi and some Spanish.
In Vancouver, Apeksha was featured as a fashion model at a South Asian cultural wedding show.
Apeksha has several interests which include reading, cooking, ice-skating, swimming, playing tennis, listening to a variety of music and practicing yoga & meditation.
