Non-Profit Organization
Non-profit organizations provide essential services and perspectives of “community” that the government and corporate sectors do not. OKT lawyers have themselves acquired extensive experience volunteering (at the board, campaign or project level) or working as staff in the non-profit sector. Our involvements have included participation in organizations which address issues of environmental protection, public policy, human rights, women’s issues, emergency services, education, arts, and culture.
We provide services to non-profit organizations in the following areas:
- employment law
- contracts
- governance
- charitable status
- litigation
- advocacy before Tribunals
